Susie Zeegen

Susie Zeegen is a co-founder of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Susie was a childhood friend of Elizabeth Glaser. After Elizabeth's daughter, Ariel, died from complications with AIDS in 1989, Susie joined with Elizabeth and friend Susan DeLaurentis to create a foundation to support pediatric HIV/AIDS research. Susie is heavily involved in fundraising and special events for the Foundation and serves on the Board's External Affairs and Business Development Committee. Susie received her B.A. in English from UCLA and an M.A. in Educational Psychology from Cal State University Northridge, and trained as a child development specialist in play therapy for hospitalized children at UCLA.
